Arkaid is pretty happy working in the gaming plaza every day. Not only do they get to play games or be played, but they also get to see many of their friends who come to the arcade to hang out. The only bad part is having to tidy up and mop the floors at the end of the day!

Making sure he’s done his work, Apollo likes to check in on Arkaid. You see, being a gaming cabinet Arkaid has a habit of cheating if it means getting something done quicker. He’ll happily glitch and exploit his way through any task if it means he can get back to his favourite things, 8-bit music and speedrunning.

Arkaid is full of surprises and not just games. He can speak many different languages and is great at maths, probably because he has the brain of a computer.

In fact, it’s thanks to Arkaid’s multi-linguistic skills that we were able to communicate with the characters of the Producer Life world, and his love for travelling was how he stumbled into us.

Nothing cheers him up more than when Synthia has a grip of his joystick and plays with his buttons. They have a sweet romance and he hopes to settle down with Synthia in the future but she seems reluctant even though they’ve been dating forever. Maybe she’s worried he’ll cheat on her, but we think that’s silly. Arkaid only wants the best prize, and in his eyes, that’s her.

Maybe the reason he’s so fond of Synthia is that his favourite thing to do is play with synthesisers. He loves to play fast arpeggios and crunchy leads, very similar to the 8-bit music playing in the early computer games. He’s a real expert in vintage electronic equipment.
